Month of December

Since it's been a little while, I'll just combine all of our December happenings into one post :)
This year was no different then the last when it came to the Christmas train- Cael would play with it for a little bit, then he'd take it all apart, then he'd beg Chris to put it all back together, tantrums would occur when it couldn't be set up right away, Chris would set it back up, and then the cycle would start all over again...Choo! Choo!
A holiday tradition- Visiting Santa at Bass Pro

We love our movie nights! When we really go all out, we like to make homemade pizzas to go with our movie night.

Our Annual gingerbread houses. This year I made individual house for the Hannah and Cael too.
Mine and Chris' (like our little perry the platypus snowman?)

Cael had his eaten before the rest of us were even done ;)

Visit from Santa at our Church's Christmas party.

Each year our stake puts on a Nativity Display (well actually more like 600+ nativities). They have nativities from all over the world, a live nativity, and a children's area that has crafts, kids nativities, and a dress up are.

Hannah, our Angel ;)
Christmas Eve! I love this day as much as Dec. 25th :) We got together with the Coltrins and Taylors for an amazing dinner and fun production of the nativity.

The Nativity Cast
We opened pjs at the Taylors' home and afterwards we stopped to look at lights. We found some ridiculous light shows put on by private home owners. They were AMAZING! We got home pretty late, so we hurried up and frosted some cookies for Santa and wrote up some letters.

Christmas Day! Luckily, our kids are still to young to realize that waking up freaking early is an option. So we still slept in til 8 or so :)

Waiting to open presents-

Hannah's new bed and quilt-

One of Hannah's new dolls. She absolutely loves them! Thanks Grandparents!!!

This is where Bekah ended up after trying to eat her weight in wrapping paper.
Holy Batman!

The aftermath :P

We had such a wonderful holiday season!  I'm so thankful for this time of the year that we spend as a family and celebrate the birth of Christ.

Your Christmas activities and actual morning looked so fun. I understand Cael's fascination with the train. He's just like his Dad. We're glad they liked the gifts.
