This weekend we went to Bear Lake with Chris' family, and stayed at Ben's parent's cabin. Saturday we spent riding the four wheelers, swimming, watching the babies eat sand, and playing games that night.
My favorite part- the four wheelers! We found this one slope on the beach that we could get air on! It was a blast. We also gave Hannah and Ian a ride- at a much slower speed and no slopes.
Besides riding a four wheeler for the first time, Hannah had another first- clapping! We were down on the beach and while I was holding her she started clapping. Usually when she's excited she just bangs her hands on her thighs but we had contact this time- hand hitting hand! It's so fun when babies do something new. Ian also had a first. He's been crawling for awhile now, and while at the cabin he crawled up the stairs- Gave Andrea quite the scare at first. But then with his mommy right behind him, Ian crawled all the way up!
It was so nice getting away and spending time together as a family. We all agreed that we wished it could have been a longer stay though.
