This past month we had lots of family visit! First my cousin, Steph came out for a weekend. We has SO much fun. She's practically the coolest person ever! The first night we had a girls night (Thanks hon for taking care of four kids four and under!). We saw The Hunger Games, so good! Then the next day we headed to Eischens for lunch and and then went to Pops that evening for some sodas. It was so good to spend time with my cousin.
We spent a lot of summers together as teenagers and were even roommates for a little bit back in the day. Getting together reminded me of how wonderful it is to laugh really hard and feel young again! Thanks Steph!

(for some reason the only picture I had of use was a pajama pic. I think Steph must have taken all the pictures, lol)
At the end of the month Chris' parents and sister came out. Chris' Mom and Dad were lucky enough to witness the hail storm (and tornado siren) their first night here. I'm amazed we didn't wake up the next morning to find them packing up our house and moving us out to Utah, lol. It was quite the storm! Overall we had some of our fence blown down, 3 broken windows, and are in need of a new roof.
Later that week we had a blast going to Frontier City, Ghattitown (arcade/pizza place), Pops, and took the kids to a museum. And thanks Mama and Papa J for giving us a date night! We went to Frontier City, dinner, and the movies totally kid free. It was wonderful!
At the end of the week my parents showed up so that we could bless Rebekah on Sunday (that post is coming soon). My Mom and Dad were so awesome to bring some Mayfields ice cream with them! Yummy! During the time that my parents were here we mostly just relaxed with them since they had just had a busy week of selling their house and moving into another one. My Mom and I did get to do a little clothes shopping though (thanks Mom!).
It was so much fun seeing lots of family! It made me realize how much we miss out on. While we love our home here, hopefully one day we'll be able to live closer to family and enjoy even more great times together!
the storm coming in...

I've come to the conclusion that we are awful with pictures! So FAMILY send us your pictures, PLEASE!
