My Little Man is Two

This past week Cael turned two! We had so much fun celebrating his birthday. Tuesday morning Chris took Cael out to eat at IHOP for breakfast (it's a tradition with the kids) then later that day he opened presents and we had cake. He got a ton of cars and trucks, a lawn mower, buzz light year power wheel, books, and lighting mcqueen outfit. For his cake, I made him a race car track with little fondant race cars.

On Saturday we had a huge get together with friends at a local park. Chris grilled up some hamburgers and hotdogs and the kids played on the old school playground (there was even a merry go round, you know the ones that you fly off of when going 60 mph. So fun!). We also had monster cupcakes (to go along with Cael's monster shirt).

This slide is crazy high and steep! Cael could care less, he climb up all by himself and loved sliding down.

What we love about our little guy:
*His smile! I'm not being biased or anything but he really does have the best smile (hard to capture on camera but still the best)
*He gives such cute kisses and hugs. He's so delicate about it.
*He doesn't say to many words but he knows some: hot, hat, tis (kiss), dank-do (thank you), Mama, nana (Hannah), 'Wha dat dis?', 'Where'd dey go?', seesus (Jesus), eeeeeeeeze (please), TOP! (stop)
*He loves to cuddle but only when he's not busy running around like crazy
*He has such a cute dance and loves to sing, especially primary songs
*He's a ladies man and flirts way to much.
*Going along with the previous one, he loves attention. When out in public, he'll start waving to someone, flash a big huge smile, and try his hardest to get them to give him attention. We're pretty sure he knows how cute he is being.
*He loves to chase us, pretending to be a monster, and growl at us.
*A lot of times when I sit on the floor, he'll walk backwards, backing up to me and then sit in my lap.
*He's a cute big brother. Ignoring the times he tries to sit on Bekah, he really is loving. If we're in the car and Bekah is crying he will hold her hand and try to calm her down.
*He's our little guy- he's on 25th percentile for weight and 50th for height. I love his size though! He just makes him that much cuter and cuddly.

 I love this little guy, and he loves the strawberries!
